We spent almost 4 weeks traveling around the Iberian Peninsula in March of 2016. These are our pictures of Spain.
March is a great time of year to explore the country, as the weather is warm but not too hot. Plus it’s still shoulder season, so the crowds are a bit more manageable and prices for accommodation are a bit lower.
However, two weeks still isn’t enough to do the country justice. We split our time between Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, and Seville along with a few day trips outside of those cities sprinkled in.
We’re big tennis fans, so we also timed our schedule to be able to attend both the Barcelona Open (ATP250) and the Mutua Madrid Open (ATP1000/WTA Premier Mandatory) tournaments.
