Laos is an interesting country, and one that many people skip in Southeast Asia.  The tourist trail typically includes Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, and the capital Vientiane. On our trip, we decided to skip the frat part of Vang Vieng, and instead head north to Nong Khiaw for some relaxation and beautiful scenery.  We were not disappointed!

However, we didn’t love everything about Laos.
